Set future defaults
- Open Missions and locate Mission defaults. These defaults apply to the whole project, not to a single group.
- Choose Mission length. The standard option shown is 45 minutes.
- Choose Primary goal or No goal as appropriate. Supporting targets can be derived from the initial X snapshot.
- Choose Live results on mission card if desired.
- Choose Suggest missions for official posts if you want private admin suggestions. These offer Start or Ignore; they do not start missions automatically.
- Choose Tidy up command message and Pin mission card only when the bot has the relevant group permissions.
- Press Save defaults. Saving only stores settings for future missions; it does not start a mission or use a paid mission. A running mission keeps the settings snapshotted when it started.
What you should see
The defaults card shows your selected settings and the save action. Mission history remains in the same tab.
Service Partner boundary
The delegated Missions scope provides current history, metrics, timeline and future defaults. It does not grant starting, closing, resurfacing or advanced mission controls. Client Telegram administrator status and delegated web scope are different permissions.
Common mistake
Changing defaults is not editing a live mission. A suggestion for a new official X post still requires a deliberate Start action by an eligible administrator.
