Compose and send
- Select the intended connected community in Official Community Broadcast. Check its bot readiness.
- Write Update text in plain text. An unbranded message can use up to 3,500 characters.
- If using Post with project branding, check the saved logo and project preview. The complete branded caption, including the generated header and footer, must fit within 1,024 characters.
- If eligible, choose Include Launch Watch CTA. Its button invites explicit opt-in; it does not subscribe group members automatically.
- Read the preview, community name and counter, then press Post Official Broadcast.
- Review the returned result and check the chosen Telegram group. This posts one real message.
Logo requirements
Save a PNG or JPEG logo no larger than 10MB in Project Profile before expecting branded broadcasts to use it. Uploading without Save changes is not enough.
Common mistakes
A long branded message can exceed the caption limit even if your own text is under 1,024 characters. Leave room for the official identity wrapper. Do not paste formatting tags expecting rich formatting. Check the audience instead of assuming all groups will receive the post.
Service Partner boundary
A Service Partner with Broadcasts scope posts plain text to a client’s connected group: write the message, choose Review broadcast, check it, then choose Post broadcast. Branded logo posts, Launch Watch CTA and group setup controls described above are owner tools and are not delegated.
If it fails
Read the delivery error, verify the bot is still an administrator and Re-check status for that group. An uncertain result is not proof that nothing was posted; inspect Telegram before retrying to avoid duplicates.
